CBR Fun’s Back Comp at Cott Main Change of Date
This comp will now be held on Saturday 21st, and not Sunday 22nd. The forecast is not looking that positive for surf on Sunday – nice day for lying in the sun though – so we have decided to bring the comp forward to Saturday – if that fails we will try the following weekend. Sorry for the late notice but Sunday looks a bit like dead flat
Saturday’s swell is slightly bigger, and the wind is a bit more more favourable.

Fun’s Back on Marine Pde Cott have once again come to the party, and have supplied us with some fantastic sponsorship, for not only this contest, but also another one later in the year, so make sure you show your support for them.
We also have a number of prizes left over from our Salty Dog Denmark comp, specifically for the girls, so hopefully we can get a girls division this time round.
We also have another great sponsor for this comp – Luke Blaskett – a new member who made the trip down to Denmark has arranged a great incentive for anyone involved in this comp. For those who don’t know, Luke is a new car salesman at Shacks Holden in Fremantle.

Yes, that’s right, everyone involved in this comp can enter a draw to win a new Holden for the weekend. Now I know that you all would like a HSV Commodore, but we don’t want to see you wrapped around the nearest tree, so Luke has offered a 4WD Holden Captiva for the weekend Fri-Mon. Certain conditions apply, like you need a drivers licence at least, so all of you Juniors/Cadets, will win it for your parents, or better still, get your parents to come down and put their name in the draw. Membership Fees - $50.00 for everyone
We need everyone’s membership fees paid up ASAP, we want to get T-Shirts rolling along but we need fees paid first. Either bring your fees to the next comp, post it to PO Box 366, Cottesloe WA 6911, or you can deposit it directly to our account at the Commonweath Bank. Cottesloe Boardriders BSB 066000 Account 1067 2037. Make sure you put your name in the reference section of whatever internet banking system you are using. We will also still need you to fill out a membership form.
Sponsorship – we are in the process of updating our sponsors page, and hope to list everyone and the discounts and special offers that are available for CBR members.
Salty Dog Denmark Comp – we still need any photo’s that were taken at Denmark, so if you have any please email them to theshaws@westnet.com.au
Ratings – not yet updated but will be very shortly – just need to work out a better points system than what has been used for the past few years – that system was based on 2 man heats, when we have 4 man heats. It will be updated ASAP.
We still don’t have everyone’s email address’s, so make sure that you pass the word around that this comp is on Saturday and not Sunday as previously shown.
