Denmark Comp Update
Well, we’ve had a good enough response from you all, so the Denmark comp is ON.This is our first comp of the year, so it would be good to get some points on the table.
I’ve received a longrange forecast from Albany via sharkphone, and they have promised great conditions, and no hassles.
June long weekend – Saturday 31st May – Monday 2nd June.
The comp will be held on Sunday 1st June, and depending on conditions will be held at either Ocean Beach, Denmark or Parry’s Beach – a short 15min drive west. Meet at 7.30am at the car park at Ocean Beach, Denmark.
If you need any info on Saturday or on Sunday morning, like your a bit late and you can’t find us then please call 0439 567261.
The conditions have been excellent for the past month, and it is only set to continue.
I know that not everyone has decided if they will or will not go yet, but from the responses received we will definitely have a strong showing down there.
I know not many of you would have been down there recently, but the turn off at Mt Barker has changed – and two weeks ago it was still not signposted. You no longer go into Mt Barker – there is a new and very big roundabout on Albany Hwy just before you get to Mt Barker (1km) – turn right.
